DNS error while adding a Parked domain in WHM

A parked domain is used to display the same website as a primary domain on WHM. If the domain you are adding as parked domain does not use your cPanel/WHM VPS as its nameservers, you may see the following error:

Sorry, the domain is already pointed to an IP address that does not appear to use DNS servers associated with this server. Please transfer the domain to this servers nameservers or have your administrator add one of its nameservers to /etc/ips.remotedns and make the proper A entries on that remote nameserver.

You can resolve the issue in one of the following methods:

Solution 1

1. Go to WHM > Tweak Settings > Domains > Allow Remote Domains
2. Switch the option to On and click on Save.

Solution 2

1. Go to Main >> IP Functions >> Configure Remote Service IPs >> Remote DNS IPs
2. Add the IP addresses of the nameservers and click on save
